Research

   Our researches focus on organic and polymeric materials chemistry, including (1) conducting polymers and polymer electrolytes for energy storage, (2) functional nano- and micro-structural polymer materials, (3) hydrophobic/hydrophilic switching materials, and (4) self-assembled three-dimensional (3-D) materials.

 

   In the conducting polymers and polymer electrolytes, these materials can also be highly porous structures, which may have application in energy storage. Within the field of functional nano/micro-structural polymer materials, we develop new materials designed for functional purposes. For hydrophobic/hydrophilic switching, we design and synthesize the chemical species that are sensitive to optical stimuli, electrical stimuli, or changes in pH, and further control the polarity of materials by the aforementioned stimuli. In self-assembled 3-D materials, we use chemical methods to control the packing of crystals and study the mechanism.   

   

       本實驗室的研究是跨領域的。以有機化學和高分子化學為基礎,經由分子設計可合成出具有特殊功能性之材料。再利用各種材料分析技術研究其特性。

我們感興趣的領域為:

 

  1. 儲能材料 : 設計且合成新穎的導電高分子和高分子電解質,這些材料可以具有高度多孔性的結構而應用於儲能用途。如:高分子鋰電池、太陽電池和電容器等。

  2. 設計新的功能性奈米和微米結構之高分子材料。

  3. 自組裝之三維結構材料:使用化學方法控制光子晶體的堆疊與生成機制。
