本實驗室的研究是跨領域的。以有機化學和高分子化學為基礎，經由分子設計可合成出具有特殊功能性之材料。再利用各種材料分析技術研究其特性，並且最後應用於儲能材料上，其中以鋰離子電池為最主要的研究方向，並且於近年來嘗試開創出水溶性液流電池的陰陽極材料。

The research in this laboratory is interdisciplinary. Based on organic chemistry and polymer chemistry, materials with special functions can be synthesized by molecular design. Various material analysis techniques were used to study its characteristics, and finally, it was applied to energy storage materials, in which lithium-ion batteries as the most important research direction, and in recent years to try to create water-soluble flow battery anode and cathode materials.
